Washington fans did not get an early Christmas gift on this day.
For much of the game on Sunday, the Washington Football Team looked outmatched. They then began to make a furious comeback that was aided when Dak Prescott threw a pick-6 late in the fourth quarter.
After getting the ball back, however, Washington would fumble it and the Cowboys would recover. The play would go under review as all of Washington nation hopped for good news.
When the ref came back and confirmed the fumble and Dallas’ recovery, one Washington fan took it too far and destroyed the family TV by punching it.
QB Taylor Heinicke completed only 11 of 25 pass attempts for 122 yards.
Washington will get another shot at getting revenge they take on the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on December 26th.
