A woman from Los Angeles is facing federal assault charges after she allegedly attacked a man on a Delta Air Lines flight in part over a dispute regarding masks.
That woman has now been revealed as a one-time NFL cheerleader and former small-time actor with a role in “Baywatch.”
Patricia Cornwall, whose stage name is Patty Breton, was charged with assault on Monday for a wild mid-flight tirade that went viral on social media.
According to the affidavit, Cornwall was just returning to her seat from the restroom when she asked a flight attendant for help finding her seat. The flight attendant asked Cornwall to find a vacant seat until the beverage service was complete.
“What am I, Rosa Parks?” Cornwall fired back, which garnered the attention of teh victim in question.
The man told her that she “isn’t black … this isn’t Alabama and this isn’t a bus,” according to the affidavit. The male passenger told Cornwall the comment was inappropriate before telling her, “Sit down, Karen.”
Cornwall responded, “Sit down, pussy.”
Video above shows Cornwall slapping the male passenger across the face during an argument over mask-wearing after he called her a ‘bitch.’
“Now you’re going to jail. That’s assault,” the man said. “You’re going to jail as soon as we get to Atlanta.”
“I will put my mask on when you put your mask on!” Cornwall said.
The 51-year-old Cornwall could face up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine if found guilty of the Class A misdemeanor, according to the complaint.
