Dana White Seemed Very Excited About The Possibility of Tom Brady On The Raiders: ‘He’s Playing Here’ (VIDEO)
Tom Brady is set to hit the free agency market for the first time in his career. Rumors have the future hall of famer leaving New England and possibly heading to the West Coast to finish out his career.
Many teams would love to have the six-time Super Bowl champion’s services and the Las Vegas Raiders are certainly a team that would love to him open up their new stadium in Las Vegas in 2020.
Raiders owner Mark Davis and the Patriots quarterback were spotted at T-Mobile Arena for Conor McGregor’s victory over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246, which led to speculation that he might be headed there.
The presence of the two NFL personalities under the same roof had reporters asking UFC president Dana White about it and he truly believes if Brady doesn’t end up back in New England, he’ll be playing in Vegas.
“I thought you guys were going to ask me ‘Hey, Tom Brady was here. Davis was here. I saw them talking. What’s going on?’” White joked. “Are you guys f—— Las Vegans or what? Come on man.
If that dude isn’t playing for Boston he’s playing here. I don’t know. I have no idea what I’m talking about. But year, he liked the fight.”
Here’s that moment:
Las Vegas has its own reasons to pursue Brady because of marketing reasons, but it really doesn’t make sense for Brady to sign with the team as the receiving corps on the team ranks near the bottom of football in terms of talent.
In terms of talent, the Chargers actually make more sense for Brady.
