The Pittsburgh Steelers kept everything in the family during free agency when they went out and signed fullback Derek Watt, brother of current Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt and Houston Texans star JJ Watt.
Watt is getting a three-year, $9.75 million deal to reunite with his brother, as they were teammates at Wisconsin.
Everybody had the same idea as they dreamed about the most famous Watt brother joining them.
JJ Watt, who doesn’t hit free agency until 2022, responded to former Steelers DE Brett Keisel’s suggestion that the No. 99 was free.
Watt was referring to the massive beard Keisel rocked throughout his career
Even in a light-hearted manner, you can’t help but to wonder if Watt really wants out of Houston after head coach Bill O’Brien traded DeAndre Hopkins.
He and a fourth-round pick were dealt for injury-prone running back David Johnson, a second-rounder this spring, and a 2021 fourth-round pick.
