Tom Brady has been very active on social media since his departure from the New England Patriots, but he may have gone a bit too far with his post today.

On Tuesday, the former Patriots star deleted a viral tweet in which he praised a few Barstool Sports employees and founder Dave Portnoy who got arrested five years ago while outside NFL headquarters in New York City in 2015 while “protesting” Brady’s deflategate suspension.

The Buccaneers quarterback tweeted “Thank you for your service” with a hands together emoji.

It was back on March 17th when Brady he was taking his talents elsewhere after 20 years with the Patriots.

He would soon agree to a two-year, $50 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then convince former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski to come out of retirement and force a trade to Tampa Bay.
