Rob Gronkowski is Now The Longest Reigning WWE 24/7 Champ In Company History

The WWE 24/7 Championship is exactly what you think it is, a title that can be lost at any moment of any given day. Because of this rule, the championship is defended across all of WWE’s brands: Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live, NXT, and NXT UK.

That rule might just be expanded to the NFL now that Rob Gronkowski has come out of retirement and is currently a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs.

When he does ultimately lose that tile, which might come during the 2020 season, Gronk will already have his name etched in history as he is reportedly the longest reigning champ in company history.

The former NFL tight end became the current WWE 24/7 champion by pinning friend Mojo Rawley during Wrestlemania 36’s second night.

Per 24/7 rules, Gronk’s challengers don’t require a ring to take away his title. He must now be prepared to defend his title anytime, anywhere.
