U.S. Senator Had Funny Response To Aaron Rodgers After He Took A Jab At Him On ‘Jeopardy!’ (VIDEO + TWEETS)

A United States senator is calling for a “Jeopardy!” rematch with Aaron Rodgers after a jab was taken at his expense during a recent airing of the show.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback’s two-week stint as a test host on the popular quiz show ended this past Friday. He was quite bust as he filmed his 10 episodes over the course of two weeks.

In the video clip below, Rodgers made a joke about US Senator Mark Kelly finishing second to him in a celebrity Jeopardy episode. Kelly posted the clip and asked for a rematch.

“I think I got this one: What is … a rematch?” he tweeted.

Rodgers response:

Jeopardy! has yet to decide on a permanent host in the wake of Alex Trebek’s death. When it comes to his post-NFL career, it appears Rodgers would like to fill that role.

“The best part of guest-hosting ‘Jeopardy!’ is watching the incredibly smart contestants test themselves against the game and against each other,” Rodgers said following his guest hosting stint. “It takes quick reflexes and the ability to make intelligent decisions on the fly to be a ‘Jeopardy!’ champion…something I can definitely relate to.”
