The darling of last season’s preseason for the Jets, Chris Streveler, found himself being waived with an injury designation on Monday.
His departure did not last long as they would bring him back to the team the very next day.
It was perfect timing as the Jets’ backup quarterback got to witness himself on the big screen with the premiere of this season’s “Hard Knocks.”
His girlfriend, Taylor Lavonne, reacted to seeing him on the show.
“@cstrevy5 I see you jiggin,” the traveling nurse laughed on an Instagram story.

Streveler worked as the No. 4 quarterback last season behind Zach Wilson, Joe Flacco, and Mike White. He led two comeback victories during the preseason and also saw game time in the Thursday night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Unless something changes again, the Jets will have four quarterbacks — Aaron Rodgers, Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Chris Streveler — heading forward.
The 28-year-old stepped in for Wilson and veteran Mike White for two games. He completed 10-of-15 passes for 90 yards.
He reportedly injured his thumb in last week’s Hall of Fame game, which led to him completing just 1-of-7 passes and throwing an interception.
