
The Jets’ rapid-fire signings of wide receivers Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman Jr., and Randall Cobb created a crowded room and somebody might see themselves on the outside looking in.
Corey Davis has a $10.5 million base salary this season and is the most expensive wide receiver on the Jets’ roster, and there has been speculation that the Jets might want to get that salary off their cap.
As we get down to roster cut day, Davis might be the WR to not make the team.

Availability is the greatest ability and if Davis is not around to practice or play much, it makes for an easy choice for the Jets to part ways with him.
Last year, Davis caught 32 passes for 536 yards and two touchdowns.
The New York Jets are a team that is coming into a 2022 season where they have expectations of not only being a playoff team, but a team that can qualify and win the Super Bowl. That is all because they traded for Aaron Rodgers and brought along a lot of his former teammates to help him get that done.
The Jets could’ve very well been a playoff team last year, but inconsistent quarterback play led to a drop in the standings. Every player will need to do their job to ensure that this team does not fall short of its goal.
Davis would love to be on the roster to help make that happen.
