Nathan Peterman is getting a new start in Oakland.
After a disastrous tenure with the Buffalo Bills — the Oakland Raiders shocked everybody when they went out and signed him to a deal.
On Tueday, head coach Jon Gruden gave him a vote of confidence when he told reporters, “This Nate Peterman is growing on me.”
Yep. The same Peterman who threw five interceptions in one half in his first career start and threw at least two interceptions in the three games last season.
On top of that, a prominent player on the team wants him to get a shoe deal. Wait, what?
Raiders starting QB Derek Carr spoke staright to HBO cameras during Hard Knock and campaigned for Peterman to get his own shoe deal.
