JJ Watt may be retired, but his hands still work very well.
Earlier this month, the recently retired defensive star posted himself wearing hockey skates while showing off his custom 99 helmet that was sitting on a jersey.
One guy quote-tweeted his anger about Watt wearing the no. 99 and seemingly threatened him.
“Any dude wearing 99 in beer league is just asking to get dropped.”
Watt saw the threat and challenged the guy to come through with his threat since he was so tough.
“Come drop me then.
Let’s see how that goes.
I showed up to the rink and the NHL guys that invited me to play with them had a bag of gear for me with this helmet in it. I didn’t choose it. You gonna drop them too?”
The 33-year-old Watt formally announced his decision to retire in January. He showed this year that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank, leading the Cardinals with 12.5 sacks. He also had 18 tackles for loss.
Watt had 114.5 sacks in his career and 195 tackles for loss.
Watt played 12 NFL seasons, was named to five All-Pro teams, and was a three-time Defensive Player of the Year. He spent 10 years with the Houston Texans and his final two with the Cardinals.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
