Lisa Wilson seems to be breathing a bit easier following the Jets’ thrilling win over the Green Bay Packers, but she still had a message to send to haters.
Taking to her Instagram story, the mother of Jets quarterback Zach Wilson posted a clip of a 3-minute video of her son talking about what it is like to play for the New York Jets and what his conversation was like when he spoke to Aaron Rodgers.
On the repost, Lisa wrote a message to his haters and critics.
“People can talk trash all they want. That’s all it is. Nobody knows how hard he has worked and how much he and his entire family have sacrificed for this moment.
WE know what an amazing man he is on and off the field and that’s all that really matters.”
Her statement was in response to the below video:
Despite not throwing very many touchdowns, the Jets have proven on a week-to-week basis that they can win without asking the second-year QB to do much. In New York’s 27-10 win over the Packers, he finished 10-of-18 for 110 yards with no touchdowns, no interceptions, no fumbles and two sacks.
This was the second week in a row in which he hasn’t thrown a touchdown or an interception. The Jets are 3-0 behind Wilson in 2022. They’re 4-2 on the season.
