Drew Rosenhaus is one of the most well-known and accomplished agents in American football. You can now add “Shark Wrestler” to his résumé.
Rosenhaus went out on the open water to fish with his client, Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill. A fearless Rosenhaus went snorkeling and decided to casually wrestle with a Dusky Shark, while Hill (cleverly) decided to stay on the boat:
The Great White Shark, Bull Shark, Tiger Shark and Oceanic Whitetip Shark are considered the most dangerous to humans. Though Dusky Sharks have rarely been tied to attacks on humans, the Florida Museum of Natural History notes they’re “potentially dangerous due to their large size and occurrence in shallow coastal waters, though they have been implicated in few interactions with humans.”
So yes, Rosenhaus was taking quite a risk here during a recreational adventure with Hill. Fortunately, Rosenhaus avoided being attacked in a potentially very dangerous situation.
In the meantime, Discovery Channel is gearing up for its annual and ever-popular “Shark Week” programming that will run from July 11 to July 18. Perhaps Rosenhaus will find himself on one of the broadcasts?
In 2022, the Dolphins acquired the 2010s All-Decade Team selection from the Kansas City Chiefs in a blockbuster trade following a contract dispute. Rosenhaus managed to land his client a mammoth four-year deal with the Dolphins worth $120 million.
