It’s 2021 and we have a weather delay in the National Football League in a stadium that is indoors.
Just minutes before the Chargers and Raiders were set to kick off, players were told to head back to the locker room as the weather got bad in the area.
SoFi stadium is INDOORS!!!
Jon Gruden was all of us.
You would think that a $5 billion stadium would be better prepared and created for something like this. The start of the Los Angeles Chargers’ home game against the Las Vegas Raiders was delayed due to lightning strikes in the area.
The game, slated to kick off about 8:15 p.m. ET, was pushed back to a scheduled 8:55 p.m. start.
It is going to be a long night for people on the East Coast.
