The NFL has made it abundantly clear several times that coaches on the sidelines need to adhere to protocols of wearing masks at all times to help stop the spread of a deadly virus that could shutdown the football season.
ESPN insider Adam Schefter said the league sent a “strongly-worded” memo to team executives, general managers and head coaches today regarding game-day protocols.
Schefter said the memo included the following message: “We will address lack of compliance with accountability measures that may include suspensions and/or forfeiture of draft picks.”
The harsher the punishment, the more likely these coaches will listen and do as they are told.
