Monday night, we possibly witnessed the softest and most ridiculous playoff ejection in NBA history.
Kristaps Porzingis was already on thin ice with a weak technical foul he received in the first half, but he would go on to receive another one that effectively ejected him from Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Porzingis came in to protect teammate Luka Doncic, who had gotten tangled up with the Clippers’ Marcus Morris.
He was hardly the only one:
Porzingis ended his night with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist.
