Hunter ultimately returned to the game following the hit before he left for good, he was sent to a local hospital.

Hunter, who plays both wide receiver and cornerback for the No. 18 Buffs, made an early impression on the Heisman Trophy race with his performance in the season’s first two games after following Sanders from Jackson State.
That will now take a big hit as he will miss a few games.
Hunter ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2022. He was the hero of CU’s upset win at TCU. An immediate game-changer on the field in several ways. He left the Rocky Mountain Showdown with two catches for 21 yards.
He will be sorely missed as No. 18 Colorado travels to Oregon for a meeting with the Ducks.
